Experimental stuff...

On my own kids, I can try some different and funky stuff. I have WAY more to share than this, but am working on client sessions before I start my own.

Click to see it bigger, there is a lot of detail that is lost in the small version.

Looking forward to the wedding...

This shoot was so fun. I could barely keep a straight face, and had a difficult time holing it together to actually take photos. I think the wedding next summer is going to be equally as fun as these engagement shots...

And remember the Tornado Warning Twins? They will be in the wedding too. So stick around!!

Ignore the sign... they grow too fast already!

We saw this rock in her grandma's garden and we couldn't resist it really. It seemed appropriate. These are new parents... they are in for the shock of their life when they realize how quickly the first year passes and how in just one year they go from helpless newborn to an opinionated, playful, almost walking, definitely talking child.

So, ignore the sign, and stay little for just a little longer baby Rooke...

Bear Tights

Those of us that are parents to little girls... we are ALL in trouble. They make more cute clothes than our daughters can ever wear. One part of my job that I love is that I can work with all of these adorably dressed kids, without having to buy all the cute clothes for my own. My kids have more than enough, but there is just too much out there!

But don't be surprised to find some photos on here soon of Meghan wearing tights like these.

Little E... thanks for making me laugh and sharing your adorable smile with me.

Someday this will be my kids...

I was a horse owner as a child, and I rode every day for years. And so I didn't hesitate for a second when I got called to shoot a riding lesson, and it turns out that this is the stable that I used to ride at when I was a teen. Someday, I hope to have my kids involved with a stable too. My favorite memories as a kid involve my horses.
